The district of Cognac

As evoked by its name, the district is the main cognac production area. The whole district is built up around this industry, the city of Cognac being its center and Jarnac the second most important. The grapevines grow inbetween small forests in a lightly wavy and green landscape, where you might encounter an old village with typical stone houses and a romanic church as its natural city center.
